Half day morning city tour of Warsaw including Old Town ( UNESCO list 1980 )with market Square, Barbican Walls, Castle Square with Sigismundus Column. Drive along Krakowskie Przedmiescie and Nowy Swiat Streets to Belvedere and Lazienki park with Palace on the Water and F. Chopin Monument. Visit new part of the city : Palace of Culture and Science- panorama of the city from 30th floor, admire panorama of the city from the right bank of the Vistula River Entrance to Royal Castle – site of Polish kings after moving the capital of Poland from Warsaw to Krakow

Visit Smocza Jama ( Dragon’s Cave) and listen to the legend of Krakow’s Dragon
In the afternoon visit famous Wieliczka Salt Mine – ( UNESCO list 1978 ) – 3 km long underground tourist route with chapels and statues made of salt; underground lakes and ponds. Learn the famous legend of Princess Kinga, who brought a wealth of salt into the Polish soil

Enjoy full day excursion to Zakopane – the winter capital of Poland and Tatra mountains.
On the way to Zakopane – raft trip on Dunajec River
Sightseeing of Zakopane:
Walk along famous Krupowki Street and old part of the town with wooden houses in Zakopane’s architecture style, funicular train ride to Gubalowka Hill to admire the panorama of Tatras, visit Wooden Church and Old Cemetery etc
Time for shopping on local flea market
Transfer back to Krakow for overnight

After breakfast departure for Wadowice – the town where pope John Paul II was born and baptized. Visit the Holy Father’s family home which is now a museum dedicated to his life and activity and a parish church where he was baptized
Time for lunch at the local restaurant in Wadowice to taste famous “papa’s cream cake”
In the afternoon visit to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska – a pilgrimage sanctuary 17th century complex with Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels and 41 chapels and stations of the cross on the hill recreating the Jerusalem from the times of Christ. As a young boy John Paul II went on many pilgrimages to the sanctuary. Kalwaria Zebrzydowska is listed on UNESCO list from 1999.
